Bear Pause offers the amenities of a modern home packaged in the classic design of a 19th century homestead.
Away from it all
but close to everything.
In our mountain hideaway you'll be close to nature and all the things you like to do in the Smoky Mountains.
In thirty minutes you can be in Pigeon Forge or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In an hour you can visit
Gatlinburg, Knoxville, and many of the popular tourist sites in the area.

The cabin features three bedrooms furnished with queen=sized beds and mountain views. The Library in the basement offers
another queen-sized bed. There are two more queen-sized inflatable mattresses ready to give you a great night of sleep after
a fun day in the mountains. If you just need a quick nap, there's a hanging porch bed out front.
Modern Touches
The cabin comes with all the amenities you've come to expect in the 21st century. High speed internet is available throughout on our easy to access WiFi network. There's an 82-inch high definition television in the Media Room that offers several streaming services along with a BlueRay player and dozens of movies for children and adults. The kitchen is equipped with all of the standard appliances including a stove that features air frying plus just about everything else you'll need to enjoy a great home cooked meal.
